So I'm searching for the truth! I'm looking for the best Headers for my 03 Tibb That money can buy....
That My money can buy I should say. I have a short ram on the car right now and it's great for the low rpm punch, but what I need is to get the power follow through from 3-5 rpm range. I hear that DC headers give a noticable push but what else is out there for me to choose from... and on the tail end Borla has the quality name but is DC worth the extra 200 dollars?!

If you can, take the top end off the car and get it polished. That will help you get more midrange out of the motor, i installed a polished intake manifold on my freind's tibby and it makes his car breathe alot better.

I have SSA v2 headers and SSA exhaust...
i had very noticeable push at the 3-5, and the setup was cheap!
I had a borla system on my car for a while, but swiched back to the SSA.
The SSA is louder, but it has beet bends, the system is significantly less restrictive that then borla.
the borla has the same size pipingas a stock system with som very radical bends.
The SSA in my opinion produced more than the borla ...and is a LOT less.

are you planning on the going to the big meet in austin next weekend?

I would just go DC and DC.  When I had my Tib I ran the DC Headers into an ARK catback N2; very close to a DC.  The DC stuff is designed to work together! Wink
